Orion is the new OACISS VM host.

Hardware Info

CPU: 16 core Xeon Gold 6208 @ 2.9GHz
RAM: 192GB
Disk: dual 960GB Samsung SSDs
Ethernet:
- Dual X722 10Gbps NICs

Software info

OS base: CentOS 8

Virtualization

Orion is the main VM host.

It currently hosts five virtual machines:

Pliny - web
Cato - DNS, LDAP
Galen - replacement for Mecha / Neuroapp (...)
Custodes - licence manager daemons, holder of the keys
- NAGware license manager (/etc/NAG)
Hector - CentOS-8 VM node
