Orion is one of Oaciss' VM hosts. It is intended to run "important" VMs as infrastructure; SMT is disabled.

- RAM: 192GB
- Disk: dual 960GB Samsung SSDs
- Ethernet:
- Dual X722 10Gbps NICs
Software info
- OS base: CentOS 8
Virtualization
Orion is the main VM host.
It currently hosts five virtual machines:
- Pliny - web
- Cato - DNS, LDAP
- Galen - replacement for Mecha / Neuroapp (...)
- Custodes - licence manager daemons, holder of the keys
- NAGware license manager (/etc/NAG)
- Altair LM
- ...
