Pike is one of two Talos workstations currently on loan at OACISS from Raptor Computing. The majority of memory in them resides in Vina

Pike is very special, because it is a Power9 processor machine with an AMD ROCm kernel driver in it.

CPU: Dual 18-core Power9 @ 2.2GHz with 4xMT (= 144 threads)
RAM: 32GB
Disk
- 630GB /
- 3TB /var/lib/docker
- NFS: PPC64 package tree & 130TB main storage NFS
Ethernet:
- 10Gbps BCM57810 to public and storage
Other NIC:
Accelerators:
- AMD MI-25
- nVidia GTX-750

AMDgpu + KFD/HSA has successfully been compiled and booted.

Effort is underway to compile the rest of the ROCm software stack.
